We begin a new series looking at characters in the Bible who lived sacrificially for God's purposes and his kingdom. When we hear the word "sacrifice," we often think about what we'd have to give up or what we'll lack, but God's call to follow him isn't just about what you lose—It's letting go of good things to experience even better things. The adventure of following Jesus is always gain.
