Encounter. Become. Grow.

High School Ministry is a place for students 9th – 12th grades to encounter God, connect to community, and become hope wherever they live, work, play, or learn.

We believe high school is an amazing time in life where teens discover who they are and who they want to be. HSM seeks to meet students where they are at and invite them into a journey of discovering the creator who loves them, welcome them into the family of God, and discover how to partner with God in transforming the world.

Sundays

Worship | 10:45am-12:15pm | Community Center

Worship together with your friends and church family during our 11am modern worship service. Come early, hang, play games, or chill with your friends and leaders in the lobby. You are a vital part of our community and we cannot wait to meet you! See you Sunday.

“I love worship on Sunday mornings because I get to be lead not just by people older than, but also by people my own age and younger. It’s extremely powerful to watch people my own age lead a room full of people of all ages. It’s truly a testament to the fact that the Holy Spirit is the same no matter how old we are or what we look like.” – Lindsay, 12th grade

“Worship services allow me to connect with God through the context of music.” – Jackson, 12th Grade

Wednesday Youth Group

Wednesdays, 7- 8:30pm in UC-303

This is our time to jump into crazy fun, meet life-long friends, and encounter a God who loves. Weekly we gather together to hang-out, play games, worship through music,  and discover how to God is inviting us to become hope. See you Wednesday, the best night of your week!

“Youth group is the highlight of my week because it’s a community where I feel like I belong and am loved. I am supported though the toughest parts of my week.” – Kelsey, 11th grade

“HSM is a place built on consistency, where leaders and kids care to invest in your life and invite all to build a loving community. Youth group is my favorite part of the week because I feel valued from the moment I arrive.” – Colin, 11th grade

Life Groups

Where the larger group gets small, so you can connect with your friends and go deeper with God. Life groups are a place where faith and life really meet. Walk with a group of leaders and friends through the ups and downs, wrestle with questions, and grow your faith.  Life groups are organized by grade and run September- November and February- May.

“Joining a life group was the best decision I made as a part of BelPres. I’ve loved having the support of my leaders alongside my peers and being able to discuss questions and work through challenges together. It’s a place I feel supported, loved, and cared for, and my high school experience would not have been the same without it.” – Emmie, 12th grade

“This is a time where I can come in a safe environment and feel supported by the group being myself.” – Greg, 11th grade

Serve on Sundays

Desire to be a part of what God is doing here on Sunday mornings?

Students are a vital part of what happens at Belpres each week. High schoolers can serve in pre-school or elementary classes, join our welcome team, help serve coffee, or help run audio, take pictures, or shoot video.  They can also help in worship by serving in our worship bands, or praying, reading scripture, or helping with communion in services.

“The preschool kids have so much energy. It is good experience to be with them—they brighten my day.” – Reece, 12th grade

“I love volunteering on Sundays because of the community. I feel like I could do anything with my people at BelPres and have fun. BelPres is such an amazing place to go if you want to feel like you belong.” – Lily, 11th grade.

Camps

Extreme Week

Experience something legendary. Over five days in August 2019 on the Klamath River, you will conquer the rapids of dragon’s tooth, sing underneath thousands of stars, make life-long friendships, and discover a God whose love is transforming.

We spend our days rafting on the Klamath River, eating river tacos, and hiking. In the evening, we will gather to learn from each other, hear inspirational messages, and respond to God through song, worship stations, and conversation
