Welcome to Elementary Ministries, for kids from kindergarten to 5th grade!

We’re so glad to see you! Elementary is a crucial beginning to a child’s lifelong faith. We teach God’s love to our students through loving volunteers, music, and Bible memorization.

2019 Summer Camps are now open!

Vacation Bible Adventure
July 8-12, 1:30-4:30pm daily
Roar! Life is Wild – God is Good! VBA is for children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade and runs daily from 1:30-4:30 pm. Children entering kindergarten in the fall, preschoolers, and infants are also welcome as long as a parent or other designated adult volunteers during VBA.
Elementary Day Camp
July 22-26
Students entering grades 4 and 5 will experience an explosion of activities designed to stretch campers physically, mentally and spiritually. Campers will RISE Up in a week of self-discovery through fun activities and attractions! Activities will take place from 9am-4pm daily. The week will fly though a water park, high ropes course, zoo, super sliding, science, crafts, worship, and more. The friendships made are invaluable. By the end of the week each child will feel that they are part of God’s big family.

Elementary Sundays

Children in  grades K-4 will check-in in the sanctuary lobby or connector and get a name tag and join their families in worship for the first part of worship in the community center or sanctuary. Children are then dismissed to the upper campus for fun activities. Children will be picked up from UC-303.

Here is our lesson from last week! Encourage your child to memorize the Bible verse by Sunday for a prize!

Elementary Wednesdays

Spring Elementary Wednesdays SQUARE (2)
April 24- May 29
Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm
Community Center following the Family Dinner at 6pm
Extra gym time after from 7:30-8:30pm
For six weeks we will look at Mr. Roger’s classic question, “Won’t you be my neighbor?” The Bible tells us to be a good neighbor, but what does that mean? How do we be a good neighbor when it’s hard? What does it look like to be a good neighbor on the baseball field or on the playground? Together we will explore what the Bible says about being a good neighbor and learn that we can start at any age! Kids will also participate in mosaic crafts that will be placed in the community. The final week they will make a mosaic to take home.
Join us for one, two or all six weeks! We will start with Family Dinner at 6pm, followed by our program from 6:30-7:30 and an hour of gym time after until 8:30pm. We need parent volunteers to come join the fun and help make it a success! The Child Care Center will be open from 6:15 to 8:15, by reservation. We hope to see you there!

Sacraments

Students in grades 3-5, accompanied by at least one parent will explore the sacraments of baptism and communion and may participate in first communion and also may schedule baptism if not previously baptized as an infant.

First Communion will be next offered in fall 2019.
