Baptisms at Bellevue Presbyterian
In the sacrament of baptism we celebrate God’s gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ. BelPres offers both child and adult baptism. For adult baptisms we require personal confession of faith, while for children we ask for affirmation of parent’s faith. Baptisms are held during worship services to engage community support in this important milestone in Christian faith.
Our baptism classes are required before an individual receives baptism, both for adult and child baptism. If this does not work for your schedule, we will work with you to make other arrangements. Baptism classes are only required once per family for child baptisms.
When you are ready to schedule your child’s baptism, please complete the baptism form found below and return it to us at email@example.com or via our mailing address (Attn: Family Life Ministries) to reserve your date/service. Your date and service preference will not be reserved until a completed form has been received. The details on the form will be used to complete the baptism/dedication certificate for Presbyterian records, so please ensure that the details are correct before submitting.
Baptism Classes are offered the first Sunday of most months. The instructor will help you prepare for your child’s baptism and explain our tradition. Child care is available. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to register for the class.
