Attending Sundays for the First Time?
We’re so happy to welcome your famly to BelPres! We hope to build a lifelong connection to your family, and to assist your child’s growth in Christian faith.
When you arrive on your first Sunday morning, enter the Sanctuary Lobby at 1717 Bellevue Way NE.
If you want more info about where to go on Sundays, select your child’s age group from the menu below. Age groups are determined by birthdate. If you would like to complete a registration form in advance so that your children can check in more quickly and have nametags printed, please complete the form by Thursday the week you plan to visit.
For children ages 3 month to 3 years, stop at the Child Care Center on the third floor (top of the big staircase) to check-in children ages 3 months to 3 years. There are loving caregivers and inviting, safe play spaces for infants and toddlers. Pagers are also available for parents to take to service with them to keep them informed of their child’s wellbeing.
For children who are Turning 4 or 5 this school year and all elementary children: Continue up the big staircase in the Sanctuary through the double doors and around the playground to the Upper Campus Building. As you enter, you will see a red Welcome Desk. Volunteers there will help you check in and find your child’s classroom.
Middle and High School Students meet and worship in the intergenerational 11:00am Modern Service in the Community Center. Look for youth staff and volunteers on the patio to welcome you in!

Volunteering with FLM
As part of our desire to protect the congregation of Bellevue Presbyterian Church (BelPres) we have adopted a broad policy requiring all staff and volunteers to have passed a national background check. Additionally, all volunteers working with children and youth (as well as staff) are also required to view our Abuse Prevention Training video and pass the associated test.
BelPres uses a company named Checkr to perform the background check part of our policy. Checkr is established in the church/non-profit world as a secure and trusted provider of background checking services. Beyond the church world, Checkr is used by many large organizations such as banks and HR companies.
Checkr uses some of the most advanced and secure technology available to receive your personal information and transmit results back to our secure servers. The BelPres system is tied into Checkr to provide an even higher level of security between our two systems. If you want more technical information on Checkr’s security ratings, follow this link
BANK-LEVEL DATA ENCRYPTION
BelPres only stores the results of the background check on our secure servers, not the confidential information used to run the check (SSN, etc.).
If you have further questions about the security of your personal information or the background check process, please contact our church office (425.454.3082) and ask to speak with our Director of Human Resources or Church Business Administrator
