The New Pilgrims by Joseph Castleberry

The Summer book clubs were a big hit so we are bringing them back on a monthly basis starting in February.  We will pick one book each month to read and discuss.  Come to one or as many as you like.

Please join us to discuss The New Pilgrims by Joseph Castleberry:

We often assume America needs to help immigrants, but in The New Pilgrims, Joseph Castleberry opens our eyes to how the opposite is true, immigrants are renewing America’s faith and values.   Find out how we can join in one of the greatest spiritual movements this country has ever seen.

Calling all crafters (of ANY ability level)! Please join us for a fun family service project! The Bellevue Presbyterian Church Dolls with a Mission group is sponsoring a doll-making day! Open to kids in Kindergarten and up, and their families.  Age level stations will be available for participants of any ability level to be a part of various aspects of making the dolls. We will guide you (and your adult partner) through all the steps necessary at your station to complete a portion of the dollmaking process. (Participants will be matched with dollmaking tasks that fit their skill level.)

Dolls created at this workshop will be part of a pool of dolls that get hand-delivered around the world or to local service organizations. In the past, these dolls have been sent to such countries as Guatemala, Rwanda, and Bolivia!

Join ESPN’s Brock Huard at Higher Ground Men’s Conference – Saturday, Feb. 10 at Westminster Chapel

In a culture ripe with social media posturing, workplace one-upmanship and hyper-sexual media, Higher Ground welcomes men from across the Pacific Northwest to come together and GET REAL. Together we claim the Higher Ground against the enemy of our souls to win the battle for a man’s integrity – spiritually, sexually and socially. Today’s

fragmented and hyper-sexual culture threatens to derail men and teenage boys on a daily basis. Higher Ground encourages men to come out of the shame game and come together to find grace and support by building genuine friendship with God and with other men.
