It is our hope that you will find the fitness and sports opportunities here that you have been looking for. As you will see, we offer an array of athletic activities here at the church for people of all ages and recreational interest. In fact, this is a place where there is always a lot going on, and getting your physical body exercised is only the beginning. We hope you will find that BelPres meets more than just your exercise needs, and that you will consider joining us for worship on Sundays.

YOGA

Holy Yoga Slow Flow- Beginner to Intermediate

Mondays, 10-11:15am

Take time to slow down, improve your fitness and deepen your faith. Increase strength, focus & flexibility as you link breath with yoga postures. Each class includes biblical meditation and deep relaxation. For men & women in good health. Bring your mat or borrow one. There is a suggested $6/class donation and drop-in’s are welcome. Holy Yoga for Living

Thursdays, 5-6pm

After work or a busy day, take an hour to refocus and reconnect with God. This slow flow, beginner to intermediate level class places an emphasis on strength with flexibility and increasing mindfulness through connecting breathing with yoga poses. Bring your own mat or borrow one. Suggested donation $6 per class and drop-ins are welcome.

Sabbath Yoga

Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30pm

Looking for a mid-week sabbath experience?  Join us Wednesdays at 5:30 pm for a restful session of soul-nurturing yoga.  Come experience peace and stillness on your mat through breath and movement.  No yoga experience necessary.  Mats provided or bring your own if desired. Suggested donation $6 per class. Drop-ins are encouraged.

Holy Yoga Flow

Emphasis on flexibility, injury prevention and stress reduction. Each class includes biblical meditation and deep relaxation. Great for beginners, men, women & active seniors. Work at your own level. Bring a mat or borrow one. Suggested donation $6/class and drop-in’s are welcome. Childcare is free, for reservations contact the Child Care Center.  Holy Yoga Slow Flow – Trauma Informed, Trauma Sensitive

Thursdays, 6:30 – 7:30 pm

Beginning March 16, 2017

Gentle Flow yoga class to increase strength and flexibility while encouraging unity of body, mind and spirit in a Christian environment. Learn to befriend your body and feel safe in your body again. You are invited to participate at your own level. There will be no physical adjusting of yoga forms or touching by the instructor. Mats are available or bring your own. Suggested donation $6 per class. Drop-ins are encouraged.

This full body workout continues Mondays.  We have a new instructor, Katherine Caputo.

Core Power Ball

Fridays, 9:30-10:30am in the Community Center
This full-body stability, strength, and cardio workout will make you sweat and will have you ready for the weekend. Training will use the exercise ball, light weights, and your own body weight to increase core strength, cardio fitness, and flexibility. Each class will be new, challenging, and full of fun. All levels welcome. There is a suggested $6/class donation and drop-in’s are welcome. NO Child care available. For other questions email Athletics.

Strength & Toning Conditioning Class

Saturdays 7:30-8:30am
Ready to work hard and have some fun? Join us for a fun-filled intense boot camp conditioning class. We will focus on strength, power and speed as well as building up your cardio endurance and core strength. Class meets in the Community Center. There is a suggested $6/class donation and drop-in’s are welcome. For questions email Athletics.

Badminton

Mondays, 6:30-9:30 pm in the Community Center
Kids and parents have priority for the first 45 minutes. If you’d like to improve your skills, tips and coaching will be available from area badminton experts. Three courts provide opportunities for all levels to play.  No reservations required. $3 donation appreciated.

Men’s Basketball

Tuesdays, 6:00-9:30 pm in the Community Center
Ages 35+ 6:00-7:30 pm | Ages 18+ 8:00-9:30 pm

No reservations required. $3 donation appreciated.

Adult Volleyball

Thursdays, 6:00-9:30 pm in the Community Center
Ages 18 and older are invited to join in a semi-competitive night of volleyball. Up to two courts at a time to accommodate more players. No reservations required. $3 donation appreciated.

Indoor Soccer

Fridays, 7:00-8:30 pm in the Community Center
Play soccer all year round. This program, held in the fall, winter, and spring, allows you to continue to play even when the weather does not cooperate. No reservations required. $3 donation appreciated.
