For 2017 we’re very excited to have Alexis Ruhumuriza as our speaker. Our theme COME TOGETHER is a tag-on to what Pastor Dudley and others have preached to and challenged us with over the past year in light of the discord, rancor and polarization of American society. We are called to be Christ’s servants in the revival of his kingdom. Alexis will share a powerful story of this from his native home of Rwanda and he’ll connect key scriptural passages to his speaking. He is a thoughtful man with a loving heart. Young men aged 14+ can to attend the retreat with their fathers or mentors (those men giving support and guidance to fatherless teens).

Men’s Bible Studies
Christ & Culture
This group meets on Tuesday mornings from 6:30-7:45am in S-137 (Welcome Room).
They use fiction and expository literature to address spiritual issues and to find the answers God has given in the revelation of scripture, the life of Jesus, Creation, the Holy Spirit and in the history of the Church.
We are equipping men to understand and engage the world and to listen to what culture is saying and respond effectively. We listen to questions and doubts in order to strengthen how we see God working in the world, in history and in our time, and to learn to serve in ways that would bring honor to the Kingdom.
Current book: “The Son” by Philipp Meyer
Next: “The Prince” by Machiavelli
